Billing Analysis Report
Abstract
This report is produced yearly to asses the Water Consumption level by Service and Municipality. It distributes the number of bills and gallons billed by tiers and the cumulative percentage of the number of bills by each tier. This report is a Custom Retrofit module developed by CentralSquare for Hernando County on 07/05/2006. There have been some updates to this module to include changes as required by UB version 9.1 (CommunityPLUS91). The source code to this custom module is available on the UB Application Server which provides insight on how it runs and the SQL queries used to produce the data.

Generate Report
This module is accessible through Utility Billing > Reports Billing Analysis Report. Steps to run:
-
Click "Generate" to enter Start & End Date (leave Munic blank and Output file with the default value) on the Analysis Table parameter area. The module will then pull every account in UB to extract the consumption data for that date range and add it to a special database table. This process averages 30 minutes for every 30 days of data generated. (Approx. 6 hours for a year's worth of data), and should not be done during business hours since it is extremely resource-intensive. Additionally, if the data generated is historical (Start and End date are for the previous fiscal year), there is no need to re-generate the data.
-
Click the "Print" icon to enter the Report Criteria. Only enter the Start & End date, and Report Title. The date range must either match the date range of the analysis table or within the range. It will not allow dates before or after the original date range. This will ensure that the report extracts every combination of Service Types for all Municipalities. Otherwise, the report will attempt to add filters to the query that may not exists and trigger errors.
-
Select "Screen" as destination. Once generated, the report will be downloaded.
